Street Dreams

UK-based brand B-side by Walé by Walé Adeyemi has come up with some amazing Fall 2011 pieces for men who like bold prints, bolder colours and really wearable super slick silhouettes. And there's a fab leather backpack I may need to invest in.. One day I will make it look cool!

In the same breath, Pharrell Williams has finally made my dreams come true by bringing out the highly anticipated Billionaire Girls Club line (although he's currently only previewing a small selection of it). Unfortunately I'm not so convinced.. The guy's kept us waiting six years for a collection that holds virtually no similarity to its super fresh male counterpart. But who knows.. maybe I'll change my mind when I've seen the whole collection!

November Needs

Everything I need this month (or realistically, this week). Forget about food, heating or electricity.. Ponyskin is where its at. I'm not normally a massive fan of Michael Kors, but a recent my-wardrobe visit definitely changed my mind; This fur trim jacket is everything I've been looking for in a winter warmer and makes a nice change from most of the parkas flying around the high-street at the moment. These pony skin boots from Topshop are just amazing, and for £65 it would be rude not to!
As hard as I find it to make backpacks look this good, this leather one from The Row is perfect in every way!.. but at over £2,000 I think I'll wait to be earning Olsen money before splurging.

Gala Gonzalez

This girl has to be one of the best dressed women around. After finding her blog a while ago I was instantly drawn in to the beautiful way in  which she mixes her clothes and accessories. Oh, and the fact that she makes time to DJ in-between looking crazy cool makes her all the more enviable.

Rings and other things

In between the Balenciaga cut-out boots, ombre glitter nails and all this forearm/wrist/finger action my horrific work load has been made that little bit more bare able. Oh and my new armour ring is helping too. Enjoy!

Pierce & Love

Even though I've spent ages thinking about my next tattoo, I'll go a week of loving an idea and hate it the next, so before rushing into anything permanent right now, I'm thinking of a new piercing to satisfy my craving. A nape piercing is seriously calling out to me!

Beautification

I was pretty sure that my first week back from my amazing month long holiday would drive me insane, but I was too busy playing with my latest duty free buys to stay too depressed.

I've come to the conclusion that the only way is dewy. No more powder or all over face sealant! I bought this amazing bobbi brown spf 25 moisturising balm at the airport and even though it was a hefty £60, its literally worth its weight in gold!

The next on my dew-enhancing wishlist is definitely the MAC strobe cream.. I've previously used the Chanel illuminating pearl gel and even though it's great on its own, it just doesn't work well with foundation or concealer. But the MAC strobe cream really does. It completely changes your complexion and makes skin look radiant and super natural. I also really like Benefit High Beam, but find it a bit difficult to use on my skin tone so tend only to use it around my eyes rather than on my cheekbones.

I also came to the conclusion that the dewy look is the only way to go about applying a bright lip! As I've recently tried to tone down my liquid eyeliner and opt for minimal eye make-up and a brighter lip (I'm going for corals and oranges to suit my skin tone), if your face is powdery and caked on, a popping lip looks too drag queen for the day so adding highlighter or dewy balms and creams really enhances the natural flush of colour in your face.

Here are my current haircare favourites.

1. Ojon pre-cleansing hair treatment (which I use before washing and again after drying.. Its genuinely addictive)

2. Kerastase Elixir Hair Oil is liquid gold. Apply after styling to enhance glossiness of your hair.

So there you go.. beauty rant over!
